TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

TUTU

Our Tutus are the dancers in the krewe. They march in lines, wear the signature Tutu and dance down the streets. They are required to attend a minimum of 8 weekend practices of their choice and 2 mandatory practices in order to dance in the parades.

TIARA

Our Tiaras are our parade support ladies. They get to interact with the crowd, hand out beads during the parade, and act as crowd control. While our Tiaras don't dance, they are an essential part of the krewe and are invited to all krewe events and committees.

TOP HAT

Our Top Hats are our non-parading members who organize tailgating/cheering sections, contribute to our charitable and volunteer causes, all while experiencing the networking, friendships, and community activites of the Tutu Live Krewe.

Members are expected to march 5+ miles in parades while wearing knee-high boots, a corset, tutu, and performing the choreographed routines. Be prepared to get into shape!

Put forth 100% effort, energy, and enthusiasm. Remember, the Krewe counts on each member to work together as a team.

Be prepared to attend a minimum of eight practices from September through January (exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis).

Be prepared to attend two additional mandatory practices for Mardi Gras.

Expect practice to start on time. Any announcements will be made at the end of practice.

If you are not on a parade roster, you will not be able to dance the parade. No last minute participation permitted.
